Regupol Acoustic Insulation & Sound Control Underlayment
Regupol Acoustical Underlayments or Regupol Sound Control Underlayment (SCU) is made from recycled rubber tires; a flat, resilient rubber underlayment used directly under screed and all floor finishes, yielding exceptional results under hard surface flooring and over concrete and wood joist construction. It can be installed under most types of grouted, glued, and floating floors including ceramic tile, stone, marble, brick, pavers, hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, parquet, vinyl, and carpet. Made from 92% resilient recycled rubber and backed by over 200 independent laboratory and field tests. Regupol sound absorption has been selected and used in some of the best hotels and condominiums in the world. Regupol Soundproof underlayment reduces noise caused from heavy loads and foot traffic. Regupol soundproofing underlayments combine elasticity and sound dampening with heavy mechanical load capacity. Regupol, the original recycled rubber crumb product, has been used for decades to manage sound attenuation and insulate against unwanted structure-born noise.
Working with the sound control firm, Sound Seal, Regupol offers the line of acoustical recycled rubber underlayments. Combining innovation with sustainability, these products are designed to reduce impact noise in the floor-ceiling assembly. They are designed to isolate vibration noise when used under machinery and in construction applications, isolating concrete slabs.
Regupol rubber underlayments have been repeatedly proven to perform as engineered to meet design requirements and are guaranteed to work as specified, every time. Backed by over 200 independent laboratory and field tests including ASTM ratings and UL classifications, Regupol has been proven to provide the highest levels of IIC sound dampening in the industry. With effective ratings under a wide variety of surfaces and versatile thicknesses for every application, Regupol rubber underlayments are the tested, single source solution for high quality and credible commercial installations.
